Security and privacy
Strict zero-logs. RAM-only servers. Encrypted tunnels. DexterVPN does not keep your browsing history — your VPN, your freedom.
What is strict zero-logs?
Strict zero-logs means DexterVPN does not keep:
- Websites you visit
- Browsing content
- DNS requests
- Activity inside your VPN connection
- Traffic logs
There is no browsing history on our side. Your internet stays yours — use it your way.
What are RAM-only servers?
A normal server can write information to a hard disk and leave it stored. RAM-only is different:
- The system and VPN service run in temporary memory (RAM)
- Sensitive data is not written permanently to disk
- When a server restarts or powers off, RAM contents are wiped
That reduces the chance that browsing records remain stored. RAM-only alone is not the whole story — clear architecture matters, and independent audits are a further trust signal when published.
Supported VPN protocols
WireGuard, OpenVPN (UDP/TCP) and IKEv2 on compatible platforms. See our protocol guides for when each may be appropriate.
You can also run a DNS Leak Test route status check to understand expected resolver behavior and infrastructure limits.
Encryption and tunnel security
VPN protocols use industry-standard cryptography to encrypt traffic between your device and DexterVPN servers. Exact cipher suites depend on the protocol and platform.
Global network
DexterVPN connects you through a worldwide VPN network designed for speed and privacy. See our transparency page and Privacy Policy.
