System requirements
- Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube or Fire TV Edition television
- Fire OS version compatible with the DexterVPN app (minimum version TBD at launch)
- Amazon account for device management
Planned setup flow
- Install DexterVPN from the Amazon Appstore or official sideload method documented at launch
- Sign in to your DexterVPN account on the Fire TV interface
- Connect to a VPN location before using streaming or browser apps
- Enable automatic reconnect options if offered in app settings

Security considerations
- Fire OS restricts some sideload sources — use only DexterVPN-published installation methods
- VPN protection applies to traffic from the Fire TV device, not other household devices by default
- Review Amazon and third-party app terms when routing traffic through a VPN

- Clear app cache on Fire TV if authentication loops occur
- Ensure system date and time are correct — TLS failures can block VPN login
